Commercial Foundation Repair Projects in NC and SC

Job: Wilkes Place Apartments, Fort Mill, South Carolina (Kuester Management)

In this commercial project, we saw about 60 linear feet x 4 feet wide front stoops/concrete slabs that also settled approximately 3/4″ – 1″. Tar Heel Foundation Solutions drilled 2″ holes to do the pressure grouting to raise the slabs back to the original elevation. We drilled 3″ holes. Over the 2″ holes and grouted soil nails were also installed with #5 rebar. The grouted soil nails/pin piles were installed to a 10′ depth. These assure the slab against any future movement. We applied pressure grout to raise elevation and pin piles to give support.
